À propos de Hyunshin

Hyunshin was born in Seoul, South Korea
and began taking piano lessons at the age of 4. At the age of 13 she gave her debut concert with the National Police Symphony Orchestra in Seoul. She received her Bachelor's degree in piano from Seoul National University with Prof. Hyungbae. After that, she moved to Germany and completed her Master's degree in piano with Prof. Friedemann Rieger at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart. Now Hyunshin completed her Postgraduate studies with Prof. Daniel Blumenthal at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.

Also she has experience performing on the world stage, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Belgium, as well as her hometown of Korea. She has also won prizes numerous national and international competitions, and has taught many master classes with renowned pianists around the world.

Hello, I am Hyunshin, a Pianist from South Korea. I majored in Piano Performance and completed my Bachelor's degree in Korea and a Master's degree in Germany. And recently I completed my Postgraduate degree at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels. (A more of career can be found below.)

Of course, I am also accepting inquiries for playing and accompaniment.

I can give a lesson at my place and also at your place. Lesson online also possible. Currently I am living in Brussels.

I can give a lesson in Korean and English.

Parfait ! Hyunshin suit deux de mes enfants depuis un an et je les vois progresser l'un comme l'autre avec efficacité et en confiance. Nous sommes très satisfaits. Hyunshin est ponctuelle, organisée, précise et claire dans son enseignement et la méthode choisie est agréable : de beaux airs connus (Haydn, Tchaikovsky, Dvorak, Strauss, Verdi, Beethoven, Scott Joplin, Star Wars, Tea for Two, African spirituals, traditional songs, etc.) adaptés au niveau de chacun, dans des styles variés, des 4 mains et beaucoup de satisfaction pour tous les deux. Les enfants apprennent avec plaisir et développent une culture musicale très intéressante. Nous recommandons à 100%!

Hyunshin est un excellent professeur de piano, très pédagogue et patiente. Elle explique les concepts théoriques et pratiques avec clarté et met l'emphase sur l'expressivité dans la manière de jouer. I have stopped playing piano for more than a decade, then I started a private course with Hyunshin. The time I spent with her was very different from the experience with my previous teachers...She not only focuses on technical skills but also emphasizes the importance of expressing emotions through music. I highly recommend her, particulary for someone who has learnt it at school-age and who wants an approach from a different, more mature angle compared to the previous learning experience. She also possesses two outstanding qualities that make her a good instructor: patience (which is very important for a slow learner and a busy working mom) and a comprehensive explanation about technique and theory of classical music.
